When you train with Envision Sports, you will start by seeing one of our optometrists. They are all very experienced and knowledgable in Sports Vision Training. They will provide a very thorough exam that is required before starting with Envision Sports.

Aaron Mjelstad, O.D. - HOPKINS EYE CLINIC
Dr. Aaron Mjelstad is a North Dakota native, he attended the University of North Dakota and received his B.S. in Visual Sciences from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Mjelstad received his Doctor of Optometry in 2000 from Pacific University College of Optometry, where he graduated with Honors.
Dr. Mjelstad is licensed in the use of therapeutic and diagnostic pharmaceutical agents. He has extensive clinical experience and training from the Teplick Laser Center in Beaverton, OR, Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ and Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Wailuku, Maui, HI. Dr. Mjelstad provides comprehensive eye examinations as well as contact lens fittings, LASIK evaluations, and sports vision evaluations.
He is an avid sports fan and enjoys most outdoor activities. He resides in Minnetrista with his wife Kim and their three children.
Bob Hersman, O.D. - HOPKINS EYE CLINIC
Dr. Hersman grew up in Hopkins and has practiced there for over 30 years. He attended St John's University, The U of M, and received his B.S. and Optometry degrees from Pacific University in Oregon. In addition to primary eyecare and contact lenses, Dr. Hersman is a Low Vision specialist, helping patients with limited sight use their vision to the best possible degree. He has consulted with schools and agencies that serve the visually impaired, and is a Board member of Vision Loss Resources. He is Board Certified in the Treatment of Eye Diseases and works closely with ophthalmology to co-manage cataract and refractive eye surgeries.
Dr. Hersman is a sports nut, especially golf, and his interest there has led to many years caring for the Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Gopher athletes. He and his wife Vicki have four grown children and enjoy being a part of the greater Hopkins community, especially the Minnetonka Rotary Club. Dr. Hersman was awarded the Minnesota Optometrist of the Year.
Tommy Elton, O.D. - TARGET OPTICAL (Edina & Richfield)
Dr. Tommy Elton is the local eye doctor practicing next to Target Optical in Edina and Richfield, MN. He provides comprehensive eye care, ranging from contact lens fittings, red eyes, office visits, and routine eye exams. He is a board certified optometrist and completed a residency with Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis.
Tommy is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and Illinois College of Optometry.
Sarah Jerome, O.D. - Look + See (Minneapolis)
Dr. Jerome is the founding optometrist at Look + See Eye Care. She enjoys providing thorough, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She truly enjoys caring for her patients and ensuring they have an understanding of their eye health. Dr. Jerome lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Mark, and her two terriers, Bandit and Snoop. In her free time, she loves Golden Gopher football & basketball, and loves to play soccer.
